Zachary Levin, DMD, MA

Dr. Levin was raised in Orlando, Florida and graduated with a degree in Neuroscience from Tulane University. He then received a master’s degree in Medical Science from Boston University School of Medicine. Dr. Levin earned his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine where he was awarded the Everett Shapiro Endowed Prize Fund in Orthodontics. As a dental student, he volunteered at community health clinics throughout Boston and was active in dental policy at the state and federal levels regarding legislation on education, licensing, and practice.

Dr. Levin completed his orthodontic specialty training at Jacksonville University School of Orthodontics where he gained an array of experience in all facets of comprehensive orthodontics. Dr. Levin is a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Southern Association of Orthodontists, as well as the Georgia Dental Association, and he passed the American Board of Orthodontics written exam.

Dr. Levin is grateful for the opportunity to work with children, teens, and adults in the greater Atlanta area to make a positive impact on their lives through a beautiful new smile. Outside of the office, Dr. Levin enjoys exploring Atlanta with his wife, Shannen, and dog, Chewy, playing the drums, golfing, and cheering on the Braves, Falcons, Bulldogs, and Orlando Magic.


Michelle Mathieson, DMD, MSD

Dr. Mathieson completed her undergraduate studies at Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia. She earned her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Nova Southeastern University, graduating at the top of her class, and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Dental Society. Dr. Mathieson was involved in the community during her time in dental school by volunteering at numerous events, including a medical mission trip to Jamaica to provide dental care to the underserved population. She completed her orthodontic residency at the University of Colorado Denver, where she received her Masters of Dental Science Degree and Certificate in Orthodontics.

Dr. Mathieson is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, the American Dental Association, the Georgia Dental Association, the Southern Association of Orthodontists, and the American Association of Women Dentists. She is board-eligible, having passed the written examination offered by the American Board of Orthodontics.

When Dr. Mathieson is not practicing orthodontics, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband, David, her dog, Zep, and two cats, Mango and Rocky. She enjoys sewing, playing tennis, hiking, and camping.


Ambre A. Kragor, DDS, MS

Dr. Ambre Kragor was born and raised in Seattle, Washington. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Washington in Seattle, graduating with honors. She pursued her dental education at the University of Washington, where she graduated in the top of her class with a Doctorate of Dental Surgery. Dr. Kragor then moved to Ann Arbor, Michigan to complete her three year specialty training at the University of Michigan. There she received her Masters of Science in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics. Her masters dissertation was focused on biomarkers of root resorption and root matrix turnover in gingival crevicular fluid and whole saliva. Dr. Kragor then moved to the beautiful state of Georgia with her husband, Andy, who is a Georgia native.

While in dental school and during her orthodontics training, Dr. Kragor received many awards and scholarships for her academic merit and clinical achievements. Her passions in orthodontics are focused on comprehensive care and achieving ideal outcomes for every patient. In addition, she spends a lot of her time volunteering for patients with craniofacial abnormalities such as cleft lip, cleft palate, and associated syndromes.  She not only enjoys volunteering for dental clinics treating patients in need, but she also loves helping her church and volunteering in the community. She is a compassionate orthodontist who strives to make every patient have a great outcome from their clinical treatment and she wants them to have fun while doing so.

When Dr. Kragor is not practicing orthodontics, she enjoys spending time with her husband, friends, and her family. She loves being outdoors and especially enjoys hiking and fishing. Dr. Kragor has a passion for photography and loves cheering on UGA during football season. Go Dawgs!!!


Farah Kar, DDS, MSc, MS

Dr. Kar grew up in Toronto, Canada before moving to Atlanta, Georgia as a teenager. After high school, she embarked on a long academic journey that began with a Bachelor Degree in Fine Arts and a Master’s Degree in Project Management from the Georgia Institute of Technology. After working in the design and development industry for several years, Dr. Kar made the bold decision to change careers and follow her passion of oral healthcare. She attended the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry where she earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree. During her time at the University of Minnesota, Dr. Kar founded the Women’s Dental Association and served as Class President. In addition to numerous awards and academic scholarships, she was also awarded the prestigious University of Minnesota President’s Student Leadership and Service Award, recognizing her accomplishments and contributions as an outstanding student leader. In 2015, Dr. Kar published her research entitled, “The Readability of Media Resources for Families with Cleft Lip and Palate” in the Journal of Medical Resources. After completing dental school, Dr. Kar continued her training by specializing in orthodontics. During her residency, she earned her second Master of Science degree and a Certificate in Orthodontics. She also had the opportunity to teach pediatric dentists and dental students, and mentored high school students who were interested in the dental profession and science as a whole. She is a proud member of the American Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Give Kids a Smile, and is a board certified Fellow of The Royal College of Dentists of Canada.

Dr. Kar is passionate about new technologies and techniques in orthodontics that allow treatment times to be shorter and more comfortable for patients. Her customized comprehensive treatment plans are geared to improve function and enhance one’s own unique smile aesthetics. Her training includes but is not limited to:

When she’s not creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Kar enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, oil painting, and sculpting. She is also an active member of the community and is especially passionate about mentoring young people to enhance their leadership skills.


Farshid Nia,DMD, MSD

One of our most prominent orthodontists, Dr. Nia focuses on offering world-class patient care, leveraging the latest in bracket technology to provide high-quality orthodontic treatments with functional and aesthetic outcomes. In our inviting orthodontic practice, Dr. Nia utilizes his extensive experience, including a DMD and DDS degree, and two Master’s degrees in orthodontics and pediatric dentistry, to provide our patients with affordable, effective solutions.

A member of the OKU elite national dental society, Dr. Nia’s extensive understanding of adolescent development through pediatric training allows him to create treatment plans that are age-appropriate and effective, minimizing the amount of time a patient spends in braces. Using alternative orthodontic approaches like clear braces and Invisalign, he customizes plans for our patients that are best for their unique needs.


Tameka Allen, DDS

Dr. Tameka Allen is an orthodontist who specializes in providing superior care for adults and children. She received her Bachelors of Science degree in Psychobiology from Binghamton University in New York in 1998, and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2003 from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee. After graduation, she studied an additional two years and received her Certificate in Orthodontics from Columbia University in New York.

A National Dean’s List Scholar, Dr. Allen has received many awards, including the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Aptitude and Achievement Award and the United States Achievement Academy All-American Scholar Collegiate Award. Dr. Allen was one of the few select students inducted into the National Dental Honor Society, Omicron Kappa Upsilon.

Dr. Allen is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the American Dental Association and the Georgia Dental Association. The New York native resides in Atlanta. She enjoys the theatre, traveling and spending time with her family.
